An inovative, whole-house approach to improving the comfort and energy efficiency of your home.

The KC Home Performance Network is part of the Metropolitan Energy Center. The Metropolitan Energy Center's mission, when it was founded, was to assist people in the Kansas City region to manage and control their energy use. This nonprofit organization has evolved to become a catalyst for community partnerships focused on energy efficiency, environmental stewardship and economic improvement.

The Metro Energy Center oversees programs and projects focusing in these areas:

Home: KC Home Performance Network - A program to help you improve your homes energy performance.
Transportation: Kansas City Regional Clean Cities Coalition On-Grid Hybrid Electric Bus Project - Cleaner burning fuels and vehicles
Commercial: Energy Works - Improving the energy efficiency of existing residential and commercial buildings.
Community: Project Living Proof - A project turning two historic homes into living examples of healthy homes.
