Home Energy Certifications and Programs
Performance Plus Homes is certified by several organizations (RESNET, BPI, and NAHB) to insure quality of inspections and knowledge in building science and national certification programs. These certifications require class time followed by testing of best in practice building science processes and construction procedures. Field audit testing is required for certification with annual on site observation of job performance conducted to maintain certification. Continuing education units are also required by RESNET and BPI for certification maintenance.

Home owners that work with RESNET members are also protected by the organization's policies of objectivity, technical proficiency, ethical standards and their complaint resolution process.
As a RESNET certified Home Energy Rater, Performance Plus Homes is qualified to inspect and certify homes that meet ENERGY STAR guidelines. We evaluate construction techniques, take key measurements, and perform inspections in order to qualify homes as ENERGY STAR.
